Revive Thy church, Thou Shepherd good,
as sheep we go astray,
Thy precious word we have withstood
in all our stubborn way!

Our sinful self we can´t improve
its death is Calvary ,
no legal works can sin remove,
His blood is our plea!

Revival God desires still,
though great is our shame,
but He restores, and He´ll refill
to glorify His name!

The charming world, yet chained with sins,
has subtle smiles disguised,
sweet are its words, with craft it grins,
till we are paralysed!

When guilt and sin with us abound,
God´s grace is greater still,
which is for sinners to be found
in Christ as God´s good will!

Upon us Jesus again will shine
As we´re revived anew,
us will His Spirit strong, divine,
refresh with Heaven´s dew!
