Thank you, God, when you reveal
Christ who does my sorrows heal,
when you take my life aside,
this is sometimes how you guide!

Faithfully you stuck with me,
you through troubles did me see,
for my failures is that flood
you provided in your blood!

Thanks you have me gently shown,
what in Jesus Christ I own,
thanks for succoring me in need
as your Spirit´s help I plead!

Thanks for souls you give me too,
just to do what I can´t do,
what you whisper from your word,
I pass on what there I heard!

Soon you take me from this scene,
where your blessings I do glean,
soon I´ll see you face to face
as I end this earthly race!
