Let me quietly share with you the phenomenon of having two TVs.  One is like a window to a godless world, and one is the one of Jer. 31:3:  "The Lord appeared to me from far away...", i.e. coming from God´s world.

Webster´s Dictionary defines television as "a vision from far away...", i.e. - a  message  (telecommunication) coming at a far away distance.  That we experience through the captivating TV window.

Jer. 31:3 too has something about "telecommunication" or, if you will, TV.  That we want to "turn on" at dawn as we open our precious Bibles depending on the revelation God tenderly gives us by His Spirit who communicates to us that very way, but not just through a mental process.

"These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit"  (1 Cor. 2:10) - "knowing  this first of all that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone´s own interpretation" (2 Pet. 1:20).  Our own interpretation and own ideas must give way to the teaching of the Holy Spirit.  A true disciple of Christ would know the difference.  His Bible is thus a revelation book.

Indeed we look through two windows.  One with "news" mixed with much sin  where TV programs, so called cultural communicators, "glory in their shame"  (Phil. 3:19) while God´s Spirit makes precious to us His word and Psalm 119 as one big praise to the golden glory of His testimonies.

"You are like an open book", my sweet physiotherapist (a Korean girl) said to me.  By the grace of God I´ll meet her again today as an open "letter from Christ" (2 Cor. 3:3) with the glory from our true TV from "far away" but now shining on me with the light of the gospel despite some "bodily ailment" (Gal. 3:13) some of us may have.
