Tune:  Beneath the Cross of Jesus...

My hidden fountain daily
is Christ and Christ alone,
full freedom I enjoy in Him
as I look to the Throne
where I am seated now with Him,
by faith it is my stand,
though sin within me does rebel,
Jesus Christ is right at hand!

His gospel is my glory,
my joy, my strength and pride,
though I am on a narrow path,
my faith´s outlook is wide,
I love that blessed paradox,
that even makes me smile
caused by the blessed Spirit´s work
while I´m living in exile.

I do not walk the path alone,
but with me are His own,
He whispers to me as I pray
good words right from His Throne!
Fresh courage I then take anew,
for timely was that hint
in keeping with the Holy Book
where I have it all on print!
