Are you moody in the morning,
but don´t understand just why?
Fickle though are our feelings
that on "sunshine" would rely!
Don´t forget in Christ your standing,
see yourself enthroned with Him  (Eph. 2:6)
far above your circumstances,
don´t let them your day make grim!

In yourself no spring is flowing
that will quench the thirst you feel,
thrust your needy soul on Jesus,
He will satisfy and heal,
He is there throughout the hours,
and His fellowship is sweet,
let Him spell the gospel with you
this still morning at His feet!

You will then on Christ be feeding,
He will make your heart content,
He will be your gospel answer
to your sorrow and torment,
let the good news be your charter,
let it heal the sick around,
take His saving grace to others,
thus His fragrance will abound!
